Most games on a Slope-themed site put you behind a rolling ball. Electron Dash moves the camera into the runner's head instead. You sprint down a neon corridor in first person, the floor drops away in gaps, walls slide across the lanes, and the pace keeps rising until one mistake ends the attempt.
If you came for Slope's feel of steering at speed and reading the track a half-second ahead, this keeps that tension and adds a jump button. That one extra input changes the rhythm: you are no longer only dodging, you are also timing leaps over holes. It runs in the browser with nothing to install, and a run is short enough for a quick break.
How to play
Press Play and the run starts on its own. Move between lanes with A and D, or the Left and Right arrow keys. Jump with Space or W. Shift slides, but only where the level allows it, so do not expect to use it everywhere.
The level is split into stretches by checkpoints. Reaching one saves your progress in the browser, so a crash sends you back to the last checkpoint rather than the very start. The game is rendered in 3D with WebGL, so a reasonably current browser is needed.
Tips
- Look as far down the corridor as you can instead of at the floor right in front of you. By the time a gap is close, it is too late to plan.
- Jump late over gaps. Leaving the ground early at speed tends to drop you short of the far edge.
- Tap once per lane change. Holding a key down is how you slide past the lane you wanted into a wall.
- Treat each checkpoint as a small reset: the speed eases back slightly there, which is a good moment to settle before the next stretch.
